Donegal v Down live tonight



Donegal’s opening Dr McKenna Cup group game against Down will be live on Ocean FM this evening (Friday, Jan 7th) from 7.30pm.

Austin O’Callaghan introduces live coverage of Donegal’s Section A opener from 7:05pm.

Match commentary from MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey will be provided by Paddy McGill and Manus Boyle (both pictured).

Donegal are in a three-team group this year with Down and Antrim.

Declan Bonner’s side will face the Saffron county next Saturday, Jan 15th, in Portglenone (near Ballymena) at 1:30pm.

It will be an expermental Donegal team on show in Ballybofey tonight as the county is without its college players who are on Sigerson Cup duty in the coming days.

Also missing are team captain Michael Murphy, Hugh McFadden, Neil McGee and Jamie Brennan as the quartet recover from injury/surgery.

Tonight’s game is also being streamed live by Ulster GAA.
