It’s remains unclear if yesterday’s minor grant funding announced for schools will be used to install air filter systems.

Vincent Duffy is the INTO representative for Mayo and Sligo he says this grant is normally paid every December to schools and is used for upgrading works in schools.
Mr Duffy says that Schools may not necessarily decide to use the funding on ventilation systems.
