North west tourism providers, hospitality, even Santa want clarity on Covid restrictions



Tourism and hospitality providers in the north west are appealing to the government to provide clarity on how the latest restrictions being proposed by the National Public Health Emergency Team will impact them in the lead-up to Christmas.

Pantos can go ahead this year, but the Health Minister says children shouldn’t attend.

However it’s thought for now children can attend Santa

Valerie Stenson is the manager of the Arigna Experience.

Thousands of children attend their Santa’s Grotto on an annual basis, the hugely popular service is expected to start next weekend.

She says the lack of clarity is unhelpful
