Glencar/Manorhamilton’s Connacht LGFA final live this Sunday

Glencar/Manorhamilton’s Connacht LGFA senior club championship football final against holders Kilkerrin/Clonberne of Galway will be broadcast live on Ocean FM this Sunday, December 5th, at 1pm.

Sligo footballers Katie Walsh and Darren Kelly will be on commentary duty at the final’s new venue of Swinford (changed from Kilcoyne Park in Tubbercurry).

Throw-in is at 1pm and the game will be played to a finish.

Galway champions Kilkerrin/Clonberne will be strong favourites to retain their title having overwhelmed Clann na nGael of Roscommon by 6-22 to 0-4 in last Sunday’s semi-final.

Leitrim winners Glencar/Manorhamilton lifted the provincial intermediate club title in 2020.

Now, they are preparing for their first ever Connacht senior club decider following their recent 3-6 to 1-8 semi-final victory over St Nathy’s of Sligo.

Listen back to Glencar/Manor’s Ailbhe Clancy, who was the team’s top scorer in the semi-final with 2-4:

Sunday’s final will be Kilkerrin/Clonberne’s eighth senior provincial decider in nine seasons.

They are currently bidding for a four-in-a-row of titles, having won Connacht in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Sunday’s final will also be steamed live by Connacht LGFA at a cost of €10.
