Two Sligo clubs have qualified for this year’s Connacht LGFA club football finals.
Tourlestrane produced an impressive display on Sunday in their intermediate semi-final to beat Tuam Cortoon of Galway by 1-10 to 1-7.
The win sets up a Connacht final on Sunday, December 12th against either Castlebar Mitchell’s or St Dominic’s (Roscommon) who play their re-scheduled semi-final next Saturday.
Team mentors Neil Egan and Liam Gaughan paid tribute to the players when they spoke after Sunday’s win to Ocean FM Sport.
Eastern Harps are through to the Connacht LGFA junior final following Saturday’s 5-12 to 4-7 semi-final victory against Leitrim champions Dromahair in Keash.

Harps will play St Brendan’s (Galway) in the Connacht final on Saturday, December 11th.
