TD says there can be ‘no last minute obstacles’ for Mica redress scheme

A Government TD says the Mica redress scheme can have no ‘last minute inserts or obstacles’ that will deem it ‘unworkable’.

Speaking in the Dail with Minister of State with Responsibility for Heritage and Electoral Reform, Malcolm Noonan, Donegal Deputy, Joe McHugh, says homeowners need to be at the centre of the delivery process.

Minister Noonan said the Department of Housing have met with the Mica working group on eight occasions, the last in September, and are determined to implement any proposed changes.
