Easier to secure Garth Brooks tickets than a PCR test



The Government have come under further criticism for a lack of available PCR tests.

 

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald had earlier this week expressed concerns that said there is huge concern across society at the growing rate of infections, the prospect of further restrictions and people’s inability to get a PCR tests.

 

During Leaders Questions in the Dáil today Donegal TD Pearse Doherty says the issue is continuing to get more serious and needs to be dealt with:

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile the Tánaiste Leo Varadkar told the Dáil that he expects the National Immunisation Advisory Committee will approve vaccines for children in Ireland in this age group “in the coming days”.

 

He also said that over a million people will receive a booster vaccine by early December.

 

 

Pfizer’s jab is has so far only been approved in a small number of countries for children aged five to 11 in countries including the United States, Israel and Canada.
