Sligo-born deputy mayor of Dublin hits out at hikes in hotel prices for Garth Brooks concerts



A Geevagh, Co Sligo native who is deputy lord mayor of Dublin is calling on Garth Brooks to voice his opposition against high hotel prices ahead of his concerts in Dublin next year.

The country music star is playing two gigs at Croke Park on September 9th and 10th.

160,000 are expected to attend, and the numbers will likely lead to a hike in hotel prices.
