Just under €50,000 (€49,747) in CLÁR funding has been allocated to Age Friendly Leitrim to provide training and support for older people on the use of digital technology in the county.
Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys announced over €700,000 nationally to fund 18 different project.
County Librarian, Pauline Brennan, says the courses will be run through the five different libraries situated in Leitrim.
She explains how the system will work.
