Donegal concrete plant ordered to close



 

Donegal County Council has ordered the closure of a concrete plant implicated in the mica scandal.

 

Three other plants, owned by the same firm, have also had planning enforcement notices sent to them.

 

The Mica Action Group says it shouldn’t have taken so long to shut down one of the concrete plants implicated in the mica scandal.

 

The firm says it’s “actively and constructively engaging with the council” on the planning issues it’s raised.
