Met Éireann have updated their Weather Warning to include Leitrim and Donegal.
Heavy rain with a risk of thunderstorms is being predicted from 1am Sunday until 5am.
A thunderstorm warning has been issued for 10 counties including Sligo.
Thundery outbreaks of rain with possible lightning and localised flooding are being predicted by Met Eireann from 9pm tonight.
The Status Yellow alert remains until 2am Sunday morning.
