Ballymote must be provided with an ATM

A south Sligo councillor is calling for an ATM to be installed in the Credit Union building in Ballymote.

The town now has no 24-hour ATM because of the closure of the Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank branches in the town.

The Credit Union is now in the former Ulster Bank building, which still has the external wall space for an ATM.

Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey believes that’s where a new ATM should be installed.
