A Sligo Nightclub owner says they will be operating at around 50% capacity this weekend.
Fergal Quinn, operator of Lola Montez is welcoming clarification from the government on guidelines which will see the scrapping of the 11.30pm closing time and clubs permitted to open at full capacity.
People will only be required to wear a mask and socially distance when getting a drink at the bar or when queuing for the toilet.
Fergal Quinn admits this will be difficult to police which is part of the reason for initially opening at reduced capacity.
