Donegal Parish to vote council members in using proportional representation



A Donegal parish is to vote it’s council members in using proportional representation for the first time.

Residents aged 16 to 18, with valid ID, will also be able to vote in the election.

29 candidates have put their names forward for the council.

Polling stations have been set up in Kilcar, Carrick and Meenaneary.

The count itself will take place in Kilcar Parish Hall on saturday from 9pm.
