A Donegal TD says the government’s carbon tax policy is pushing people into fuel poverty.
Thomas Pringle said Minister for the Environment and Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan ‘must’ve been joking when he said the budget would be ‘very green.’
He says people in rural areas are impacted the most by policies such as a carbon tax.
Deputy Pringle believes people are associating environmentalism with unfair taxation.
