Sligo Rugby Club ready for All-Ireland league opener this weekend



Sligo Rugby Club kick-off their Energia All-Ireland league campaign this Saturday as they welcome Dublin side Wanderers to Hamilton Park at 14:30.

The home side is under new management this year with New Zealander Josh Reeves joining the club in the player/head-coach role in May.

Sligo’s preparation for Saturday has been good, having only lost out on the Connacht League title through the last kick of the game against Corinthians in September.

Saturday will be a reunion of sorts for the new boss as Reeves played for Saturday’s opponents back in 2011.
