64 people waiting on hospital beds in North West



Letterkenny University Hospital has the third-highest number of patients in the country waiting on hospital beds this morning.

 

There are currently 46 people waiting at the Donegal hospital for a bed with 9 in the emergency department with 37 on other wards.

 

18 people are waiting on a bed in Sligo University Hospital, 14 of those are currently in the emergency department.

 

The numbers are contained in the latest INMO trolley watch figures which state that there are 426 people across the country are waiting for a bed

 

Cork University Hospital has 61 patients on trolleys, the highest in the country, followed by University Hospital Limerick with 58.
