IFA President stresses the importance of supports



Farmers are warning the uncertainty over CAP reform, climate action and Brexit means increased supports for the sector have never been more critical.

 

The Irish Farmers Association’s to meet with the Finance and Public Expenditure ministers later to detail their demands in the upcoming budget.

 

The largest farming body in the Country claim  a total of 900 million euro will be needed to help farmers next year, and the government needs to contribute to that alongside the EU.
