Remembering 911 – Locals who witnessed Twin Towers attack look back



On the afternoon of 11th September, 2001, Niall Delaney took a call from a West Sligo man, living in New York, who relayed the horror of the World Trade Centre attacks as they happened. He’d called a local radio station in Ireland as phone lines in his area were down – that call is remembered on the 20th anniversary, as are the thoughts of two local men involved in the rescue operation
