Earlier this week it was announced that a ban on solid fuel would be implemented in Ireland from September next year.
While this as a positive move for the environment, Independent Kerry TD, Deputy Michael Healy-Rae, told North-West Today that the ban would adversely affect those living in rural Ireland:
