The proposed routes for the N17 Knock to Collooney route are now available for public viewing.
People can see the options online and they will also be displayed at Sligo County Council’s County Hall in Riverside in Sligo Town and in Teach Laigne in Tubbercurry.
A controversial option going through Bunninadden and passing near Ballymote has been removed from the shortlist of options.
Former Sligo councillor Keith Henry, from Bunninadden and who lives in Ballymote, is welcoming the decision and says anyone living on the current proposed routes will be written to.
