Murvagh Golf Club in Donegal is basking in the publicity surrounding the visit of the American actor Bill Murray yesterday.
The actor, best know for his roles in the ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Groundhog day’ films, is visiting a anumber of golf courses across Ireland this week.
It’s also expected that his tour will take in other local golf courses such as Enniscrone in County Sligo where Murray is expected to visit on Sunday.
Bill Murray is filming a new season of golf series ‘The Links Life’ to air on YouTube and a number of other streaming platforms.
Grainne Dorrian, who’s the administrator at Murvagh Golf Club, says says the visit came as a surprise.
