Sligo and Letterkenny university hospitals are the 3rd and 4th worst hit in the country today when it comes to the number of patients waiting for beds.
There are 34 waiting in Sligo, 23 of whom are in the emergency department, with 31 in Letterkenny, 11 of whom are in the emergency department.
Only Cork University Hospital, with 48, and University Hospital Limerick, with 36, have more.
Overall in hospitals throughout the country today, there are 345 people waiting for beds.
