McCallion says weekend vaccination appointments being reserved for registered children

Weekend vaccination appointments are being reserved for children who are registered for a vaccine this week.

Parents with children aged 12 to 15 will be able to register them for a Covid-19 vaccine from Thursday.

The HSE says 89 per cent of people who are eligible for a vaccine have received their first dose.

National Lead for the COVID-19 vaccination programme Damien McCallion says appointments will be offered to parents within days of registering.
