In Donegal, the Letterkenny IT vaccination centre will operate on Sunday from 8.30am to 4.30pm

People who are in the area on holidays can also get their first dose vaccine in the IT Sligo or Carrick on Shannon vaccination centres.

The second dose will be arranged at a vaccination centre near a peron’s home address, but people can change the location if they wish.

People do not have to register online beforehand but registering may speed up time spent in the vaccination centre.”

Those coming to vaccination centres should bring their PPS number or proof of address.

They should also have their Eircode, mobile phone number, email address, photo ID and proof of date of birth.

Those aged 16 or 17 who have no photo ID should bring their birth cert.
