The Local Property Tax rates are to remain the same in Donegal for the coming year.
Councillors set the tax from a baseline each year. Earlier today, Donegal county councillors voted to increase the LPT by 15%, which means maintaining the 2021 rate, which is 15% above the baseline, the same as the year gone by.
23 Councillors voted in favour of the increase.
Sinn Fein Councillors voted against as well as Councillors Frank McBrearty, Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig and Michael McBride.
