Sligo town woman is president of Accounting Technicians Ireland



A Sligo town woman has been appointed the new president of Accounting Technicians Ireland.

She is chartered accountant Kathya Rouse, a founding partner in McMoreland Duffy Rouse, a Sligo-town based audit and tax consulting firm.

Accounting Technicians Ireland is a professional body for accounting technicians, with more than 10,000 students and members working in industry, practice and the public sector.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Kathya says the promotion of opportunities for life-long learning and continuous professinal development are among her priorities for her term as president.
