The Yeats Society in Sligo has secured funding for next year.
The society had faced closure if €100,000 couldn’t be raised by September.
A GoFundMe page was set up which, as of time of writing, has raised €106,025 through donations from around the world including €20,000 from Sligo County Council.
Susan O’Keefe is Director of the Yeats Society.
She says they are ‘astounded’ by the support received.
