Two new shelters will be supplied in both Grange and Cliffoney and one shelter each in Cartron at Classiebawn Drive, Cairns Rd Sligo Town and on the Mall outside Sligo University Hospital replacing the existing structure.
Independent Councillor, Marie Casserly has been highlighting the need for bus shelters across the county for a number of years.
She says this is a great first step as the Council and the National Transport Authority are rolling out a programme to install shelters throughout the county over the coming years.
