Outdoor dining was ‘unfeasible’ over the weekend due to weather



The Restaurants Association says it’s willing to work day and night to ensure indoor dining can reopen alongside international travel.

Hospitality industry representatives are meeting with Government officials this afternoon to seek a workable plan that would see restaurants, pubs and cafes fully reopen from July 19th.

Restaurateurs say it’s critical there’s a plan in place a week ahead of reopening international travel so they can prepare for overseas tourists.

Owner of Eala Bhan and Hooked Restaurant in Sligo, Anthony Gray says outdoor dining was unfeasible over the weekend.
