New parking and disabled spaces needed at Collooney Health Centre

The large green area on the grounds of the Collooney Health Centre should be converted into parking and disabled parking spaces, according to a local Councillor.

Sinn Fein Councillor, Thomas Healy, says the centre caters for a large area yet the parking and set down facilities are no longer adequate with seven staff also needing to be catered for.

He says many elderly people cannot park or be set down and must walk from the main street, especially during busy times.

Councillor Healy is calling on the HSE to urgently address the matter.
