Donegal U20s coast to victory against Armagh

Donegal’s under-20 gaelic footballers eased to a comfortable 1-17 to 0-8 victory against a poor Armagh team at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey on Friday night.

The manner of the victory was all too straightforward for the home team as Armagh failed to produce a meaningful gallop at any stage in the contest.

Donegal, on the other hand, impressed with their range of point scoring being of the highest order at times. Termon’s Ryan McFadden was one of several players to catch the eye.

The win sends Gary Duffy’s side into an Ulster quarter-final in Omagh next Friday night (July 9th).

The full Ulster U20 championship quarter-final line-up is:

Tyrone v Donegal

Cavan v Down

Fermanagh v Antrim

Derry v Monaghan.
