A Sligo councillor says the recent surge in Covid-19 cases has come as a major shock to residents in the Collooney and Coolaney area.
Sligo Drumcliffe Councillor Thomas Healy was reacting to the announcement from the HSE yesterday evening which expressed concern at the number of cases that were detected in the region.
Cllr Healy says it’s vital now that the community redouble its efforts to stop the virus from spreading.
