Tubbercurry has won in the inaugural Dot IE Digital Town Awards.
The town was nominated, and won, in the ‘Digital Rising Star’ award/
31 finalists in 14 different categories from 15 counties nationwide took part sharing in a prize of €100,000.
Joann Hosey, Chairperson of the Tubbercurry and South Sligo Smart Community is delighted the town has won the award.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, she talks about the future plans for the area.
