Sligo hurlers clinch Division 3 league title



Sligo senior hurlers upward curve of recent seasons continued on Saturday as Padraig Mannion’s side beat Tyrone by 1-18 to 0-14 at Healy Park in Omagh.

The result means Sligo have made it three wins from three and cannot be caught at the top of the Division 3A table.

There are no league finals in hurling this year, so Sligo are assured of the league honours.

Gerard O’Kelly-Lynch produced another inspirational display, contributing 1-11 of Sligo’s total.
