Donegal well beaten by Dublin

Donegal gaelic footballers were beaten by All-Ireland champions Dublin on Saturday evening at Kingspan Breffni in their Allianz Football League Division 1 semi-final, on a final scoreline of 1-18 to 1-14.

The game had an air of a glorified challenge match about it – but Dublin always looked reasonably comfortable as Declan Bonner’s side were clearly holding back something, mindful of the upcoming Ulster championship opener against Down on June 27th.

Saturday’s results mean there will be no Division 1 league final.

Instead, the league title will be shared between Dublin and Kerry, who hammered Tyrone in Killarney in Saturday’s other semi-final.

Div 1 semi-final results
Dublin 1-18 Donegal 1-14
Kerry 6-15 Tyrone 1-14.
