Local School Principal encourages students to keep exam options open



Leaving Cert students in the North West are being advised to make sure they show up for their written exams.

 

With many opting for calculated grades this year there is the chance that some will make a last-minute decision to not do the written tests.

 

More than 5 thousand exam centers have been set up across the state to ensure that social distancing is maintained through the 2021 exams.

 

Marty Fallon is the Principal of Drumshanbo Vocational School, he’s urging all students to sit the exams and have the option of having the opportunity to avail of the highest grades from either the accredited grades or sitting the exams in the traditional fashion.

 

The Drumshanbo based Principal says the majority of students are sitting at least one exam over the coming weeks:
