Motorists have been venting their frustration at severe traffic delays in Sligo Town throughout the Bank Holiday weekend. The ongoing roadworks on Hughes Bridge and at the Rosses Point junction caused long hold-ups – it took John an hour and 15 minutes to get from Coolaney to Sligo Hospital which delayed his appointment with consultants
