Minister stops in Tubbercurry to see building for new Garda station

The Minister with responsibility for the Office of Public Works has paid a visit to a building in Tubbercurry that will become the new garda station in the town.

The building, which is beside the current small Garda station, was previously used as government offices. It has now been bought by the OPW.

Minister Patrick O Donovan’s visit to the building has boosted confidence that the process of providing a new Garda station for Tubbercurry is ongoing.

Among those who were with Minister O Donovan during his visit to Tubbercurry was local Fine Gael Councillor Martin Connolly.
