Some community based health services continuing to operate



Some community based health services are operating while others remain cancelled around the region following the ransomware cyberattack on the HSE’s computer network.

All Donegal community diagnostics such as X-ray are cancelled until further notice.

People are advised to call ahead to confirm if your child’s audiology appointment is going ahead while hearing aid repairs and earmould appointments are available.

Prearranged Ophthalmic appointments in St Conals, Letterkenny and the Primary Care Centre in Barrack Street, Sligo are going ahead as normal; those who have an appointment at Sligo University Hospital though are asked to ring ahead to confirm.

While the vaccine rollout remains uninterrupted across the region with people being encouraged to attend for their appointments.

The latest group that can register to get a COVID-19 vaccine are people aged 45 to 49.
