Sage Advocacy are calling on the Government to deliver a road map for the re-opening of adult day centres across the North West.
They say these centres play a vital role in enabling many older people to remain at home and access social and health services in their own communities.
It’s feared that many users of the centres are “struggling to cope” with their continued closure.
Sarah Lennon, Executive Director, Sage Advocacy speaking to Ocean FM News says that despite the further relaxation of restrictions, there is still no timetable in place for the re-opening of critically important adult day centres.
