Donegal councillor doesn’t want to see Pettigo left behind

A Donegal councillor is calling for a meeting to be arranged between the community development section of the county council and the community in Pettigo for the purpose of putting together a town plan.

Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy says Pettigo is a unique and pretty town that is full of history.

But she says with all of the action and regeneration plans for towns and villages, she does not want to see Pettigo overlooked.

She says the community in Pettigo should be asked what it would like to see happen.
