Meeting on cross border cooperation held



The first meeting between Donegal Municipal District, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and the Municipal District of Lifford/Stranorlar on how cross border cooperation can improve the lives of people was held yesterday.

The aim of the committee is to explore ways in which cross border communities can work together.

Donegal Councillor, Micheal Naughton chaired the inaugural meeting on Thursday.

Speaking to OceanFM News, he says tourism is one area that everyone can benefit from.
