More than four and a half thousand people through Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are living with heart failure.
And with Heart Failure Week running until Sunday, the Irish Heart Foundation is putting out the message that it has a wide range of supports for people to help them manage their condition.
The services include counselling, online meetings, a nurse support line, exercise classes, newsletters, a podcast series and support to help people mentally and physically.
An estimated 2,700 people in Donegal as well as 900 people in each of Sligo and Leitrim have heart failure.
