Sligo Chamber seek assurances with re-opening strategy



The Chamber of Ireland have called on the government ahead of this evening re-opening announcement to provide certainty on financial supports and the reopening strategy that will be deployed for the coming months.

 

Aidan Doyle is the CEO of the Sligo Chamber of commerce.

 

He says that the reopening strategy must contain plenty of detail and take into consideration previous mistakes that were made as the Country attempted to exit restrictions:

 

 

 

The Government have so far provided various allocations of funding for outdoor dining for various businesses.  Funding has also been allocated to local authorities to upgrade facilities to cater for outdoor diners.
