Cavan-Monaghan TD not disheartened by poll on reunification

Northern Ireland would vote to stay in the UK if a border poll was held today.

A survey, for the BBC’s Spotlight programme, found 49 per cent would vote ‘remain’.

43 per cent would choose to join a united Ireland – with 8 per cent undecided.

Sinn Féin TD for Cavan-Monaghan, Matt Carthy, says he’s not disheartened with the poll’s findings.
