Gardaí in Sligo are continuing to investigate a serious assault which took place in Sligo Town last night.
It’s understood that investigations are continuing this morning after Gardai attended an incident yesterday evening in Sligo Town which led to the Pilkington Terrace and Chapel Hill areas being closed.
OceanFM news understand that one male has recieved non- ife threating injuries as a result of the incident. Another man remains in cusdoty this morning. Gardai in Sligo have appealed to anybody with information on the incident to contact Sligo Garda station on 071 91 57000
