Donegal farm diversifies into holiday glamping park

A Donegal couple have turned their farm in Ardara into a glamping park.

The ‘Owenea River Rest’ project, by Francis and Deirdre Connolly, at Tullycleave, has been supported by Donegal Local Community Development Committee and Leader.

The two-acre site has been converted into a holiday park with four individually designed self-contained cabins with bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.

It also has three spaces for camper vans.

Rural Development Manager Frank Kelly says it will have a very positive spin-off in the areas of Ardara, Glenties, Portnoo and The Gap.
