Turn off, tune out, cop on – Minister defends new worker ‘right to disconnect’ move



Employees in Ireland now have the right to disconnect from work, and not answer phone calls or e-mails from their employer outside of working hours. Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English, has urged a sensible approach to the new code of practice, and rejects suggestions it may not be practical to introduce in certain workplaces
