Latest 14 day incidence rate for your area



The latest 14 day incidence rate of Covid-19 for the local region once again shows contrasting trends when it comes to the respective local electorate areas.

 

These latest figures were compiled between March 16th and March 29th.

 

Nationally the infection rate stands at 164 per 100,000 had of population.

 

In Sligo there were 8 cases recorded in both the Sligo/Drumcliff and the Ballymote/Tubbercurry local electorate areas.  When it comes to percentage figures this represents 45.3 in Sligo/ Drumcliff and 29.9 in Ballmote/Tubbercurry.

The local area with the highest number of cases was Sligo/Strandhill where 23 cases were registered a percentage of 108.9.

 

The number of cases of Covid-19 in North Leitrim was greater than the rest of the County put together.

In the Manorhamilton local electorate area 11 cases or a percentage figure of 101.7 were registered. This compares to 5 cases each being detected in the Carrick-on-Shannon and Ballinamore areas.

 

In the Donegal, the Donegal electorate reported 16 cases or 60.4% per 100,00 of population.  This was the lowest percentage figure recorded in the entire 7 local electorate areas in Donegal and the second lowest number of cases behind the Glenties area where 15 cases were reported.
